Sport
Sport plays an enormous role at Sidlesham Primary School. The obvious physical benefits often have an impact on emotional well-being, which can help improve student's school performance. Playing sports with classmates can motivate and help students with their confidence, as they can engage in friendly competition and form new friendship groups by working with a new group of children.

The provision at Sidlesham has been recognised by a number of awarding bodies. We are a 'Quality Start' school and hold the Silver School Games mark.

Each year, the government give schools a 'Sports Premium', which the school can spend on boosting the engagement with, and profile of, sport.
