A welcome from our Headteacher

It is a privilege to welcome you to our school website and introduce myself. My name is Mrs Koiston and I am the very proud Headteacher of Sidlesham Primary School, 'the little school where big things happen'.

Our website aims to provide you with key information about our school, our staff team, our vision, values and ethos as well as our place in the local and wider community.

Sidlesham Primary is a community primary school situated in the village of Sidlesham, near Chichester. We are a very happy, vibrant school with confident, resilient and motivated learners who are involved in all aspects of their learning and school development.

Our aim is to ensure that all pupils achieve their full potential developing their knowledge, skills and abilities in a safe, supported and nurturing environment, engaging in a variety of  high quality, engaging, relevant and innovative learning experiences. We offer an experience that focuses on the development of the whole-child by providing a broad and balanced curriculum. We have fantastic grounds for children to play and learn together, including an on-site Forest School run by our own staff team.

We greatly value parental support and engagement in the learning and life of Sidlesham Primary and have a wonderful PTA who support us throughout the year, providing our children with fun experiences and events. We also work closely with the schools in the Martlet Hub to support teaching and learning.

We have a dynamic team of teachers and support staff who act as exemplary role models, educating and nurturing each and every child.

I believe the best way to get to know us is to experience Sidlesham in action. If you would like to make an appointment to visit our school then please contact our school office using the details below.

I look forward to meeting with you and working in partnership throughout  your child’s primary education.

With best wishes,

Sophia Koiston
