A Welcome from Our Headteacher

It is a privilege to welcome you to Sidlesham Primary School.

My name is Mrs Koiston and I am the very proud Headteacher of our wonderful village school - a place where big ambitions grow in a small, nurturing community.

At Sidlesham, our purpose is clear: to secure the very best life chances for every child through an inspiring, high-quality education. Everything we do is driven by this commitment.

Sidlesham Primary is a community school at the heart of our rural coastal village near Chichester. We are proud of our close links with families, our local church, and the wider community. These relationships enrich our pupils’ experiences and help them understand their place in the world.

We are committed to developing the whole child. Alongside strong academic foundations, our pupils benefit from exceptional outdoor learning, including our on-site Forest School and regular bushcraft sessions from EYFS through to Year 6. Our beautiful grounds provide space to explore, collaborate and grow.

Our dedicated and talented staff team are passionate about providing high-quality teaching and pastoral care. We believe in working in genuine partnership with parents and carers, supported by our active PTA and our collaboration within the Chichester locality of schools.
