Sports Premium

At Sidlesham Primary School, we want every child to enjoy being active, develop a love of sport and lead a healthy lifestyle.

We use our Sports Premium funding to improve the quality of PE, increase participation and ensure all pupils have access to a wide range of sporting opportunities.

Our Aims

Through our Sports Premium funding, we aim to:

provide high-quality PE lessons for all pupils
develop pupils’ confidence, skills and enjoyment in sport
increase participation in competitive and non-competitive activities
promote healthy, active lifestyles
ensure all pupils, including those less active, are engaged

We want every child to leave Sidlesham with positive attitudes towards physical activity.

What This Looks Like at Sidlesham

We use our funding to:

enhance the quality of teaching in PE
provide specialist coaching and staff development
offer a wide range of clubs and sporting opportunities
increase participation in inter-school competitions
support pupils who are less confident or less active
ensure all pupils can access sport and physical activity

We are committed to making sport inclusive, enjoyable and accessible for all.
