Performance Data

At Sidlesham Primary School, we are ambitious for every pupil.

We carefully track progress and attainment to ensure that all children achieve highly and are well prepared for the next stage of their education.

The Department for Education publishes performance data for all schools.

You can view Sidlesham Primary School’s data by clicking on this link.

Due to small cohort sizes, individual year group data can vary and should be considered alongside our wider school information.

Our Current Position

Our latest internal assessment and national data show:

  • strong outcomes in early reading and phonics

  • improving progress in mathematics across the school

  • continued focus on raising attainment in reading and writing

  • a clear commitment to ensuring all pupils, including disadvantaged pupils, achieve well

We recognise that attendance remains a key factor in securing the best outcomes for all pupils.

How We Use Data

We use performance information to:

  • identify strengths and areas for development

  • monitor the progress of all pupil groups, including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND

  • provide targeted support where it is needed most

  • ensure high-quality teaching in every classroom

This ensures that all pupils are supported to succeed.

Our 2025/26 Priorities

Our current priorities, informed by our performance data, are:

  • improving attendance for all pupils, particularly those who are disadvantaged

  • continuing to strengthen outcomes in reading and writing

  • securing strong foundations in early language and phonics

  • developing mathematical fluency across the school

  • ensuring all pupil groups make strong progress from their starting points

These priorities are reviewed regularly by school leaders and governors.
