Wraparound Care

At Sidlesham Primary School, we offer a range of wraparound care options to support families before and after the school day.

Our provision provides a safe, welcoming and flexible environment where children can relax, play and socialise.

Opening Times

We offer wraparound care throughout the week:

• Morning provision (Hummingbirds): from 7:30am

• After school provision (Hummingbirds): until 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday

• After school provision (Active8): until 5:30pm on Fridays

This ensures families have access to childcare across the full school week.

What to Expect

Our wraparound care provides a calm and friendly environment where children can:

• relax before or after the school day

• play and socialise with friends

• take part in a range of activities

• enjoy a safe and supervised setting

We aim to create a positive and nurturing experience for all children.

Providers

• Hummingbirds – our in-school provision, led by school staff

• Active8 – external provider offering Friday after-school care

Both provisions work closely with the school to ensure consistency and high standards of care.

Booking is made via the MCAS parent app for Hummingbirds and directly with Active8 Minds for Friday afternoon sessions.
