At Sidlesham Primary School, our uniform helps to create a sense of belonging, pride and readiness for learning.
We aim to keep our uniform simple, practical and affordable for all families.
Our Approach

We follow national guidance to ensure costs are kept to a minimum, with only a small number of branded items required.
School Uniform
Pupils are expected to wear:

Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress

Blue and white checked summer dress
-
White shirt or polo shirt
-
Royal blue jumper or cardigan (logo optional)

Plain white, grey or black socks or tights
Footwear:

Plain black shoes or trainers suitable for school
Most items can be purchased from supermarkets or high street retailers.
PE Kit
Pupils should wear:

Blue PE t-shirt (logo optional)

Navy shorts (logo optional)

Trainers or plimsolls
In colder weather:

Navy jogging bottoms
-
School zipped PE top or suitable alternative
Generic items are acceptable for most PE kit.
Keeping Costs Low

Jewellery, Hair and Appearance

Small stud earrings and watches are permitted

Jewellery must be removed or covered for PE

Hair should be tidy and appropriate for school

Long hair should be tied back where necessary

Make-up and nail varnish should not be worn
